Avanti! Club: Cecilia Zilliacus – einmal anders

einmal anders – en gång på ett annat sätt

At Cecilia Zilliacus’ club, Richard Strauss’s Till Eulenspiegel is performed by five musicians in place of the full orchestra. Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne is performed as a duo with Janne Rättyä, in a version for violin and accordion, including additional movements composed by Kalevi Aho. In Mauricio Kagel’s work, the vocal soloist is a robot built by the artist couple Teija and Pekka Isorättyö.
