Avanti!’s spring season spotlights Karita Mattila

Avanti! performs “In the Spirit of Ligeti” at the final concert of Musica Nova 2017 festival

Avanti’s fall season 2016 concerts published

Lotta Wennäkoski in charge of the programme for Summer Sounds 2017
/in News /by avantiadminComposer Lotta Wennäkoski will be planning the program for 32nd Avanti Summer Sounds festival, to be organised on 28 June – 2 July 2017. This year’s Summer Sounds Festival, which consisted of fourteen concerts and other events in Porvoo and Pernaja, was attended by an audience of roughly 3 000 people.

Avanti! XXX Summer Sounds – Idyll / Wed–Sun June 24–28, Porvoo, Finland
/in News /by avantiadminThe Avanti! Summer Sounds festival will be celebrating its 30th anniversary on June 24–28, 2015. This year, the artistic planning of the five-day musical event is the responsibility of German conductor-composer Matthias Pintscher. The festival programme, titled Idyll, will consist of 14 concerts or events. Some of these will be held in local restaurants, and new this year are the club nights providing post-concert entertainment.
